Amazon Payments is trying to make some inroads into being the “not Paypal” but right now it feels like they’re focusing on bigger merchants. Also, up until very recently it wasn’t possible to use your Amazon Payments balance to buy stuff on Amazon.com without cashing out money as a digital gift card.
